Quality Management Involves the Whole University

On 13th November 2008  Prof. Ljiljana Pinter, PhD, Vice Rector of the University of Zagreb for Teaching and Quality Assurance, gave a lecture on the structures and steering processes of quality management at the University of Zagreb. Prof. Pinter emphasised that universities today are confronted with international and national competition, a situation which requires continuous improvement of teaching, research and organisation quality. Of special interest to the students of the Master’s Study was the practical application of quality management at the University of Zagreb, as well as the question to what extent the universities have changed as a result of the competition and how much the teaching staff at the University of Zagreb actually contribute to the process of quality assurance.
